Q: What software needs to be removed from my computer when I exit the university?
A: As part of your exit procedures, when you leave or separate from the univeristy, you need to remove any campus or department licensed software from your computer(s).

One application that nearly everyone uses is the campus anti-virus software.

If you have Microsoft Forefront installed it can be removed using the Windows Control Panel: Add or Remove Programs.

Other applications on the Mac commonly can be removed by dragging the application icon to the Trash.

Other application on Windows can be removed using the Windows Control Panel: Add or Remove Programs.

If your new institution does not provide a free Anti-Virus solution, you can install one of the following free solutions:
