Q: How do I connect to cConnect using Apple Mail?
A: Here is my best guess at configuring Apple Mail for uConnect based on the IT Express instructions for using Outlook for Mac 2011
  1. In the Apple Mail File menu, select Add Account…

  2. In the Add Account window, enter your name, uConnect e-mail address, and uConnect password, click Continue

    If you receive a warning about “Trying to log in to the Exchange 2007 server “autodiscover.ucdavis.edu” failed”, you may ignore it and click Continue again.

  3. In the Incoming Mail Server window, select Account Type: Exchange 2007, Description: uConnect, Incoming Mail Server: owa.ucdavis.edu, click Continue

    If you receive a warning about “The Exchange 2007 server “owa.ucdavis.edu” is not responding”, you may ignore it and click Continue again.

  4. In the Incoming Mail Security window, select the checkbox to Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), click Continue Screenshot: uconnect-incoming-mail-security

  5. In the Account Summary window, check the box to Take account online, click Create
